Day 1: Kolkata
When you arrive in Kolkata, our representative will receive you at the airport and help you transfer to your hotel. Check in, freshen up and relax. Leave in the afternoon for a city tour of Kolkata.
Days 2 - 4: Kaziranga National Park [B, L, D]
Leave for the airport to catch the flight to Guwahati, in Assam. Then travel by road to the wildlife resort at Kaziranga National Park where you stay for the next 2 days. . You can enjoy wildlife safaris at the Kaziranga National Park, where you travel on elephant back to see rhinos, tigers and other wild animals in Kaziranga. Stay overnight in the jungle lodge.
Day 5: Kolkata [B]
Fly back to Kolkata and stay overnight at your hotel in Kolkata.
Day 6: Kathmandu [B]
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Kathmandu and stay at the Dwarika's Hotel in Kathmandu. The exclusive hotel keeps alive the memory of the late Dwarika Das Shrestha, who attempted to preserve Kathmandu's architectural heritage. His collection of wood carvings and woodcraft can be seen at the Dwarikas Hotel. The hotel offers its guests 74 rooms and suites. The hotel combines luxury with traditional Nepalese arts and crafts. Situated near the Pashupatinath Temple, Dwarika's Hotel has modern conveniences and has restaurants, a bar, library, swimming pool, and restoration workshop, where wood carvings are recreated.
Days 7 - 9: Chitwan National Park [B, L, D]
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Chitwan National Park. Arrive and check into Tiger Tops Jungle Lodge. This wildlife lodge provides guests with luxurious accommodation within Chitwan National Park. The lodge is eco-friendly and has solar powered lamps, fans and showers. You can enjoy elephant safaris and wildlife tours in Chitwan National Park over the next 2 days.
Chitwan National Park is spread over an area of 976 square kms. It is home to many species of wildlife including, tigers, leopards, Rhinoceros, deer, bears, and monkeys, as well as numerous species of birds.
Days 10 - 11: Kathmandu [B]
Travel back to Kathmandu and stay at Dwarika's hotel. Enjoy a tour of Kathmandu and the heritage site of Bhaktapur. See spectacular views of the Himalayan mountains. You can also visit Phulchowki, an area of great natural beauty.
Day 12: Delhi [B]
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Delhi. Arrive and check into the Claridges Hotel.
Days 13 - 16: Kanha National Park [B, L, D]
Leave for the airport to board the flight to Nagpur in central India. Stay at the Tuli Tiger Resort, which is located in the Kanha National Park's buffer zone. With eighteen air-conditioned cottages,
an audio/video theatre, library, swimming pool, restaurant and a pool table.
Over the next 2 days you can enjoy wildlife safaris in Kanha National Park, which is famous for its tiger population.
Days 17 - 19: Bandhavgarh National Park [B, L, D]
Proceed by road to Bandhavgarh National Park and stay at Churhat Kothi. Over the next 2 days you can enjoy wildlife safaris in Bandhavgarh National Park famous for its wildlife.
Day 20: Train [B]
After a last trip to see the wildlife of Bandhavgarh, you leave for Umaria and board your overnight train to Delhi.
Day 21: Homeward
You will be met on arrival and transferred to the Radisson Hotel. Late in the evening you transfer to the airport for your flight home, with unforgettable memories of your Wildlife Odyssey in India.
