Day 1: Delhi
On arrival in Delhi, you will be received by our representative, who will help you check into your hotel. Relax and then leave for a tour of Old and New Delhi, where you see the Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Qutab Minar, Humayun's Tomb, India Gate and other monuments in Delhi. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 2: Delhi - Khajuraho - Bandhavgarh
Check out early and leave for the airport to board the flight to Khajuraho. Arrive and transfer to Bandhavgarh Wildlife sanctuary. This is a long drive of around 7 hours along forest roads. Check into the jungle resort in Bandhavgarh.
Day 3: Bandhavgarh
Spend the day observing wildlife in Bandhavgarh, on jeep safaris or elephant safari rides in Bandhavgarh National Park. Return to the jungle lodge to stay overnight.
Day 4: Bandhavgarh - Khajuraho
Leave for Khajuraho. Check into the hotel in Khajuraho on arrival and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 5: Khajuraho
Enjoy a full day's sightseeing of the Khajuraho temples, built by the Chandella dynasty of central India. The temples are famous worldwide for their erotic sculptures. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 6: Khajuraho - Orcha - Shivpuri
Leave for Shivpuri. On the way we tour Orchha, a medieval city known for its beautiful palaces and temples. Arrive at Shivpuri and check into the jungle lodge.
Day 7: Shivpuri
Begin the day with a wildlife safari early in the morning, when many animals can be seen. You can go on another wildlife safari in the evening to see the animals at Shivpuri National Park.
Day 8: Shivpuri - Ranthambore
Leave for Ranthambore National Park. Arrive and check into the jungle resort. Famous for its population of tigers, which can be seen quite frequently, National Park Ranthambore is also home to deer, bears, leopards, many species of birds and also marsh crocodiles. Stay overnight at the jungle resort.
Day 9: Ranthambore
Enjoy a wildlife safari in Ranthambore National Park and see many rare animals and birds. The tigers of Ranthambore are often seen by tourists on jeep safari tours in Ranthambore. Later you can take a nature walk around the Sorwal Lake, where many water birds can be seen.
Day 10: Ranthambore - Jaipur
Leave for Jaipur. Arrive at your hotel. Check in and relax.
Day 11: Jaipur
Enjoy a day of sightseeing in Jaipur. See the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar and feel like a maharaja as you take an elephant ride up to Amer Fort. Later you can shop for artifacts at Johri Bazaar. Return to your hotel to stay overnight.
Day 12: Jaipur - Agra via Bharatpur and Fatehpur Sikri
Leave for Agra. On the way we visit the famous Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary, where numerous species of birds can be seen. We then leave for Fatehpur Sikri, an abandoned city of the Mughals. In Fatehpur Sikri you can see many grand buildings including the tomb of the Sufi Saint Muin-ud-din-Chisti. Leave for Agra. Check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 13: Agra
Leave early to see the monumental wonder the Taj Mahal in Agra. Spend a day exploring the Mughal heritage of Agra including the Agra Fort, Itimad-ud-Daulah's tomb and Akbar's tomb at Sikandra. Leave for Delhi. Arrive at your hotel, where you stay overnight.
Day 14: Delhi
Leave for the airport to board your flight to your international destination.
